The fretwork also extends, unusually, to the panel below the keyboard. Scalloped wood carved edges to piano with screw in legs with intricate carving increase the appeal of this instrument. Excellent detailing and fold out music stand. It may require tuning slightly more frequently than a modern piano because of its wood frame. However this particular instrument holds its tune very well. The sound produced by these instruments differs from modern instruments being more delicate with a different sound imparted by the wooden frame when compared to metal framed instruments. A rare find in good playing condition this instrument is suitable for those who wish the traditional / historic sound coupled with fine appearance and craftsmanship.
